We took a family field trip to the Wildlife Refuge and we had a great time! We saw 9 alligators up close and personal and lots of beautiful birds and wildlife. It is a 4-mile beautiful drive through the marshlands. We also visited the visitor center where we learned about the salt marshes and some history of Savannah.
We went through a couple of months ago too! It was our first time going and we really enjoyed it! I'd like to go again now that it's a little cooler, and see what is blooming and what animals are out and about.
